Community and Social Responsibility
With more than 15,000 team members worldwide, Stericycle understands the impact that our team members can have in the communities that we serve. At the corporate level, we support a Team Member Hardship Fund, also known as SteriCares, to help our team members when they are facing the most challenging of times.
Additionally, our local facilities and offices are empowered to identify and support areas in their community to offer support initiatives, including:
- Staben House is a rehabilitation group that focuses on battered and abused homeless women. Annually, Stericycle offices in the Chicagoland area collect gifts and goods to be donated to families that are part of the Staben House program.
- Feeding America’s mission is to provide food to Americans through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage the country in the fight to end hunger. Stericycle and our Women’s Resource for Impact, Success, and Empowerment (WRISE) group have joined Team Feed to help end hunger in America.
