Stericycle is pleased to announce the launch of our re-engineered 1 Gallon SafeDropTM Sharps Mail Back and 1 Gallon CsRx® Controlled Substance Wastage containers. The containers are designed for the storage and transport of patient and at-home generated sharps waste and controlled substance wastage. This launch is the latest investment in our container portfolio to bring our customers innovative, sustainable services and first-to-market products.
The re-engineered 1-gallon containers retain all the features of the current containers and have an improved design equipped with the following:
- Tethered lid to allow easy container closing with a single hand
- Modern aesthetic with redesigned handles for better grip and handling
- 40% less plastic compared to our prior containers, helping to reduce CO2 emissions associated with the manufacturing of the containers*
